Design Management

  Also known as ‘green construction’ or ‘sustainable building’, bio-climatic architecture has become a key consideration in the design and construction of modern structures for both residential and commercial purposes.
• Resilience architecture
  This specialist architectural discipline addresses the challenges posed by harsh climatic conditions or the potential impact of natural phenomena on either lifestyle (residential context) or business continuity (commercial context).
• Interior architecture
  Sometimes referred to as environmental design, interior architecture focuses on the optimal allocation of the available structural space in alignment with business processes and the related patterns of human interaction. The design approach is adaptive, enabling the available structural space to be re-engineered for new applications, in keeping with evolving business needs.

Construction Management

TMG offers a comprehensive construction project management (CPM) service to ensure a functionally and financially viable project.

TMG focuses on the following key aspects of construction management:

• Construction operations
  Typically, with design-bid-build construction systems, the time allocated for detailed construction preparation is insufficient. TMG recognises the potential impact of site constraints and focuses strongly on identifying and mitigating these during the design phase. Our approach to design-build construction is therefore based on the architect fulfilling the role of master builder.
• Occupational health & safety legislation
  TMG will ensure that all construction processes are conducted with due regard to application legislation, in particular relating to occupational health and safety guidelines.
• Construction supply chain management
  Construction supply-chain management offers new approaches to reduce the cost of and increase the reliability and speed of facility construction. TMG takes a systems view of the production activities of autonomous production units (subcontractors and suppliers in construction) and seeks to optimize all such activities.
