The final program strategy is drafted only once the current status audit, strategic facility planning, and organization psychology processes have been completed.

Project Management

The overall success of a project depends largely on the extent to which the individual contributions, either in terms of resources or skills, are integrated and aligned toward achieving the end goal.

• Strategic project scope initiation planning phase
  Our preliminary planning processes focus on exploring project alternatives, identifying project requirements and milestones, the related funding requirements and the financial impact of implementing the project, while taking into account the possible future needs of the organisation.
• Strategic project design & development phase
  TMG coordinates and manages the strategic project design and development phase by making use of a strategic management process.
• Project implementation & monitoring phase
  In the implementation phase,  we pay particular attention to the organisation and coordination of all parallel actions which form the monitoring foundation, by combining the action plan, organization structural culture, communication and involvement.
• Project commissioning & handover phase
  At TMG, the commissioning of projects is judiciously managed to ensure that the project’s end result performs effectively according to the design intent and the client’s operational needs.

Contract Management

Contract management involves the structured management of contract drafting, execution and analysis, with a view to maximising organisational performance and minimising risk.

TMG’s expertise in contract management means that all contract relationships will be actively monitored and modified where necessary to ensure that all parties meet their deliverables to exacting standards and that all objectives are met throughout the contract’s life cycle.

TMG focuses on the following key phases of the contract life cycle:

• Contract initiation phase
  The initiation phase involves the conceptualization of the contract agreement. TMG will define and describe the basic processes that must be performed to get the contract started and identify what the contract agreement should deliver.
• Contract procurement phase
  TMG will manage and source goods or services to be procured from external role players to ensure optimum pricing and quality, as well as to ensure delivery in keeping with the project timeline.
• Contract development phase
  We will facilitate the effective management of the contract by defining and engaging with all relevant parties while developing the contract. The contract development phase is critical to achieve the desired outcomes as agreed by all parties.
• Contract administration phase
  Once the contract award has been finalized, the administration phase commences. TMG deals primarily with the management of risks in the contract administration period and our main purpose is to monitor performance to ensure that the objectives of the contract are met on time and within budget. We also proactively monitor project progress to identify potential risks and address these before they adversely impact on the project.
• Contract maintenance phase
  TMG effectively manages the retention period, known as the maintenance period, after the contract implementation is completed, with a focus on guarantees and latent defects.
